We believe that the church is the custodian of the meaning of Christmas. It must lead the way in showing how it should be celebrated. We’ve partnered with Advent Conspiracy around this simple idea: the global poor need to somehow be invited to our feasts and made part of our stories.
Together with Advent Conspiracy, we’ve created a special program for churches called Just One that makes it super easy for your church to engage and that costs you nothing. By simply showing a two minute video(below) and handing out Just One cards, you can teach your people about how our spending can become an instrument of the kingdom that Jesus came into our world to inaugurate. Advent Conspiracy churches all over the country will be teaching their congregations how to spend less, and choose fair trade. Some will devote an entire weekend to it, and others will spend 5 minutes from stage.
