This page describes our practices and policies concerning shipping and the privacy of your personal information.

Privacy and Security Policy

We hold your personal privacy with the utmost respect and actively protect your information.  We do not share your contact information or any other details with third parties.  We will not fill your inbox with spam, and we try to keep our opt-in newsletter list as up-to-date as possible.  We use industrial strength 256-bit encryption to protect transmission of your information over the internet.  We do not store your credit card information in our database.

Return/Exchange Policy

We are happy to accept returned items within 3 months of purchase.  Please return items to:

Please include copies of the packing slip if you still have it, and the order reference number.  Please include a note informing us as to why you are returning the product and an explanation of what you would like us to do i.e. exchange it for another specific item, refund you or issue you with credit against a future purchase.

If the return is not due to any error/breakage on the part of Trade as One then we regret that we have to charge for shipping any exchange items.  In such cases we would contact you for payment details before dispatching any exchange items.
If the return is necessary due to our error, or due to breakages/faults then Trade as One will pay for the shipment involved. Please contact us for shipment details.

Shipping Costs

Trade as One ships your order via UPS who give us very competitive rates, a swift, trackable service, and base their charging by weight.  Our policy is simple: You pay what we pay. We don’t ever make a dime on shipping.

As with all online shopping, it is true that smaller orders incur relatively larger shipping fees and slightly larger orders, therefore, are more economical in terms of their shipping cost. 
If you’d like, you could experiment with adding/removing items from your basket and seeing what shipping rate is quoted. Adding additional items to your order either does not increase the shipping charge at all (if they were other light weight items) or to increases it only slightly (if the items were bigger or bulkier).

Shipping Address

Please note: We only ship to addresses in the US.  We do not currently ship to PO Boxes.

We want your package to reach you first time, so please use a shipping address where UPS will be able to locate you easily.  Sometimes a work address is preferable.  It’s frustrating for everyone if packages get returned to us because UPS were unable to deliver.

Tracking your order

After placing an order with Trade as One, you will receive an email confirmation of your order. Then when your order is shipped from our warehouse we will send you a second email confirming your order has been dispatched, advising you of shipping date and the date you can expect your order to arrive.  This email will also include tracking information, which you can access through your account on our site if you have signed up or on the shipper’s website if you have not.
